discussed:
Equipment Allocation
Michael discussed the 4 year cycle for allocation for computer upgrades. WCTS sets a quarterly schedule to allocate new machines through out the year starting this summer thru spring of 2002. Most admin staff replacement will start in the fall.
Printer Life Cycle Plan, the question of laser printer replacement was raised. Michael said at this point there is no scheduled replacement for laser printer upgrades or replacement. Replacements are done as needed with WCTS and departments splitting the cost. The committee recommended that printers be placed on a life cycle plan just like computers, and buildings on campus.
