UTFB – View and Print Sequential Files

Use the Sequential File BROWSE Shell (UTFB) process to view files in a directory. For example you can view your communication management documents in the HOLD directory.

Directory File Name: Enter the directory where your file is located

Item Name: Enter the name of your file

Browse Options: B = Browse the file at your terminal

S = Spool the file to the line printer

D = Delete the file

The buttons on the Report Browser window:

Exit Browser Button

Import Button – to export the file to your pc or a network drive

Page Up Button – scrolls you up a page

Page Down Button – scrolls you down a page

1/1 – tells which page you are on / tells total number of pages

First Page Button – takes you to the top of your file

Last Page Button – takes you to the end of your file

Print Local Button – prints to your local (windows default printer) printer

Print Remote Button – displays the datatel printer screen
