Phantom of the Datatel

(Running Jobs in Phantom/Background Mode)

Background mode: frees up the computer for other tasks while report runs

When running most reports/jobs, the following screen will appear:

To run in Phantom mode, enter “Y” in background field

Execution type: I = immediate

E = Envision (scheduled)

Scheduling options: enter dates/times to indicate when and how often the job should be run. Only jobs with constant parameters should be scheduled for multiple runs
