Saved by Savedlists

 

What are Savedlists: They are basically a file that contains keys to a datatel database file

Why use savedlists: You can use savedlists with batch processes (batch assign statuses, communication codes)

                                 You can use savedlists for reports                  (AR statements, FA Statistical Reports)

                                 You can use savedlists for queries                  (select from one file, report from another)

How do you create Savedlists:  With SLC (Person Save List Creation screen)

                                                   With Query Builder

                                                   Various Datatel processes allow you to create savedlists  (import processes)

                                                   You can create pc file (excel, etc) and transfer it to datatel

To combine savedlists or find differences:  Use SAAL (Saved List Algebra)                                              

To browse savedlists file: UTFB

To find your savedlists:  Query builder query Holdlist.wis

To make a savedlist permanent: save it with the .PERM extension
