[AIS Implementation] Datatel

Scheduled Events: Degree Audit

Dates: August 17-18, 1999

Instructor: Sue Presnell

Description:

The Degree Audit module enables our institution to improve advisory services to students, ensures they stay on track in their efforts toward their educational plan, and facilitates review of alternatives to that plan. Degree Audit uses files which collect data from other modules to evaluate a student's academic progress online. You can choose up-to-date information or evaluate progress as of specific dates in the past. This data can then be used during advisement consultations and has an interface to graduation processing. Evaluations are driven by a student's academic program, in which you build the program requirements and subrequirements. Particular attention is paid to the building of subrequirements, where particular course and credit mandates are indicated. Additional functionality is provided to allow you to make custom adjustments, grant exceptions, and overrides to a student's academic program.
