Financial Aid

Date: May 4-7, 1999

Instructor: Susan de Jong

Description:

The Financial Aid module helps our institution manage all aspects of financial aid processing, including initial filing of aid applications, tracking continued student eligibility and need for aid, automatically posting aid awards to accounts receivable, and tracking award recipients. Additionally, the use of rules and the rules processor can aid the decision making process by automatically updating the status of records and fields based on user defined criteria. There are import/export utilities available as well to assist with electronically transmitting and receiving information from government and other agencies. The module also provides a variety of reports used for the analysis of student retention projections, recipient populations, budgeted and actual awards, and governmental compliance.
