  • College funded "AIS Implementation Project" will be concluded in November. Need to start thinking about evolving the IPT (Implementation Project Team" into something else--May want to think about creating a new group that combines AITAP, Core, IPT...since AIS is an ongoing project (will keep on evolving).

Admission
schedule conflict prevented Stephanie and Tony from attending. status report sent via email

  • We have setup small workgroups for reporting, test score imports, application processing, and communication management for application decisions.
  • We have run tinto a few glitches with processing reactivates (people who have previously applied but didn't attend and are ow reapplying), also having difficulties getting accurate counts on forfeits and defers. We may need to change when we move someone to student and will discuss this with the appropriate offices in the near future.
  • We are gathering information to send to CollegeNet for them to setup our application electronically.
  • Requested an were given approval for temporary support staff help for 10 weeks. Will be contacting someone in the next day or so.
  • We have setup a schedule that doesn't conflict with Tech Services for us to run our prospect rating rules. It takes several hours to run, so we are running it at the end of the work day every Monday.

Residence Life

  • Getting reports written.
  • Need roommate matching logic by October 1. Res Life will send over the brochure that describes the matching criteria.
  • The actual roommate matching and lottery programs are needed by spring.

Financial Aid

  • Testing "needs" calculation and everything seems to be working fine.
  • Working toward live data in September. Entering scholarships in live.
  • Want to see Student Index Number on their screens.
  • Need to review reporting needs with WCTS.

Business Office

  • Payroll is taking substantial amount of time to process. Some problems with vacation/sick leave display.
  • Gift interface from Millenium is close to completion.
  • Bank reconcilliation issues with checks on BiTech & Datatel.
  • Need to work on ATT interface soon.
  • Explore putting budget reports on the Web.

Registrar

  • Still undergoing conversion--packets going out in a week.
  • Entering advisees for first year students--now that they received this data from Dean of Faculty office.
  • Temps entering transfer equivalents.
  • Need printer next week to print batch jobs.
  • Met with Rich for Safari training ytesterday--need some view changes.
  • Schedul25 needs work but used it to do schedule--went to printer yesterday.
  • Will meet on Tuesdday at 9 a.m. to go over arena registration planning.

HR/Payroll

  • Started position budgeting--had 1st meeting with Jim.
  • Need more training on reports--will get with Rich on this.
  • Mary has pulled staff/faculty directory info using Excel.

Jim Ply

  • Activities & Events training next week.
  • Degree audit and Financial Aid consulting in October.
