Business Ofifce
- Very little progress this week. HR still needs more account numbers;
Walter indicated that Kathy Yeager will have time for this. Kathy
Streifling is entering endowment information. Darrel spending quit a bit
of time on student accounts area.
- Laser Checks: Need to design laser checks. Have backup plans on how
to print, although we are still tesing Accuprint, etc.
Admission
- Didn't have time to do much these last two weeks due to Lot of
campus events, illness and data mapping.
- Gethering code translation tables to Ken for data conversion.
- Attended Rich's communication management class.
- Consultant (Amy Westlake) on December 7-8. They will coordinate with
the Registrar's Office to invite those folks to some of the sessions.
Financial Aid
- Will be visiting Whitworth College on December 6 and 7, along with
Mary Luckstead and Darrel Johnson. Keiko advised her to send receipts to
Chris Young for processing under AIS.
- Not much happening. Did data mapping. Rob Smith really did not know
much about Financial Aid, so there were some frustration.
- Varga wanted a clarification whether we were going to do student
payroll in January under Colleague. Walter and Mary both said that the
plan is to do this, unless prove to be otherwise. Varga said, if so, she
has a person available who can enter students data for student payroll.
Discussion as to what data need to be entered initially.
HR/Paryoll
- Mary feels that the HR just took a turn for the better--a lot
of progress have been made. Having a person who dan devote time to the
project really helped.
- Will ask Kathy for student list for payroll..which she can then give
to Varga for data entry.
Core
- 84 code tables were defined and entered in test & live.
Technical
- Unidaata was upgraded yesterday (11/18), which fixed the problem with
Safari.
- Kevin and Ben completed WebAdvisor training. We hope to have Web
functionality in time for spring pre-reg.
