Implementation Project Team
The implementation project team oversees the entire implementation.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Establish module teams with project steps and identify membership.
- Hold scheduled detail project status meetings.
- Critically assess accomplishments and anticipate coming needs.
- Evaluate accomplishments of individuals and recommend necessary
changes.
- Propose policy for access to the software, shared data definition
and data flow.
- Identify, escalate, and communicate policy and data standards
issues.
- Make shared-code file decision.
- Support cross-module learning within and between offices.
- Document calendar events critical to the implementation project.
- Identify and recommend interdepartmental reporting needs.
- Build conversion plans including specifying test cases.
- Provide scheduled status report to the Implementation Steering
Committee.

The project manager provides leadership for the entire implementation.
The main role is to guide and assist the offices in the implementation.
This person's responsibility is to provide a global viewpoint, to ask the
right questions, and to assign the appropriate resources to a department
so that they can determine how to best implement the software.
