Whether you're using a PC or a Mac, several network printers are available for your use. Always make sure you know where the print job is going before sending it - if someone has reset the destination, your paper could show up in another building on campus!

The main computer labs have laser printers in them. As you print on a networked printer, remember this: print jobs have to travel over the network. Be patient. If your document still hasn't printed five minutes after you sent the command, ask a Consultant for help. Sending a second print request will only make things worse. Also, don't print multiple copies - use a copier instead, that's what they're for.

A color laser printer is available at $1.00 a page. Come to the Olin Computer Lab and ask a Computer Consultant for help using this printer.
