The Second Annual Whitman Undergraduate Conference will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2000!
The Undergraduate Conference will celebrate the impressive variety of research and the creativity of Whitman"s students through a day of presentations, performances, and exhibitions. Students from all disciplines will have the opportunity to share their scholarly and creative accomplishments not only with their professors and classmates in their major disciplines but also with the entire Whitman community. To enable everyone to attend this event, no classes will be held that day.
More than 130 students will participate in this year"s conference. Approximately one-half of the presenters will use multimedia or audio-visual equipment as part of their presentation. To assure that presentations run smoothly, WCTS will provide staff support and practice sessions in each of the presentation venues. Presenters are strongly encouraged to attend the practice session in their presentation venue.
