Zimbra: Scheduled downtime Wednesday June 15th 5-9pm

Zimbra Email System:

This only affects those using the Zimbra Collaboration Suite for email or calendaring. You will not be able to read or send email messages or access your Zimbra calender while the servers are down for maintenance. Email messages sent to someone on the Zimbra email system will be queued and will be delivered once the system is back online.

Webmail: migrated

The old Webmail email system was discontinued on May 10, 2011. Any remaining email accounts that were using this system have been transferred to the new Whitmail system. Email addresses have not changed.

Whitmail is Whitman's customized version of Google's Gmail. To log into Whitmail, please go to http://whitmail.whitman.edu.

NOTE: Before you log into Whitmail for the first time, you will need to reset your password here: https://id.whitman.edu/account/ It is *not* necessary to change your password (though we recommend it), you can simply re-enter your existing one.

If you would like to use a stand-alone email client (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, Mac Mail, etc.) please visit our online documentation on how to adjust your account settings.

CLEo/Quack/Datatel: Scheduled downtime for maintenance [RESCHEDULED]

The CLEo/Quack server (cleo.whitman.edu) will be down Thursday, May 5th from 5:00 to 5:30 PM for routine maintenance.
