Zimbra: downtime for maintenance
The Zimbra email and calendaring system (zimbra.whitman.edu) was down Tuesday, February 8th from 5:00 to 6:00 PM for routine maintenance.

The netFiles server (netfiles.whitman.edu) will be down Monday, February 7th from 5:00 to 6:00 PM for routine maintenance.

WHAT THIS MEANS AND WHO IS AFFECTED:

netFiles:
This affects all students, faculty, and staff using the netFiles servers for network storage. You should not be working on any documents or files stored on netFiles as you may lose changes or damage the documents that you have open while the servers are shut down. Make sure you close your files before 5:00 PM on Monday.

The Millennium server (natasha.whitman.edu) will be down Monday, February 7th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM for routine maintenance.

Millenium Server (natasha):
This affects users of the Millenium software only. For Millenium users, please be aware that failure to completely exit from the Millenium software before 5:00 PM may result in data loss or corruption. You may need to reboot your machine on Tuesday morning in order to re-establish contact with the Millenium server.
