The campus telephone and voice mail systems were down for brief periods (each lasting no more than 5 to 10 minutes) on Monday, November 24th between 6:00 and 10:00 PM for routine maintenance.

We were upgrading the software that runs the telephone and voice mail systems for the campus. This required the server to be shutdown and restarted, which lasted no more than 5 to 10 minutes. The upgrade process involved several of these brief outages.

The student mail server (students.whitman.edu) was down Tuesday, November 18th from 5:00 to 5:20 PM for routine maintenance.

The Millennium server (wilson) was down Thursday, November 13th from 5:00 to 5:25 PM for maintenance.
