Cordiner Hall Fiber Cut
During Sherwood construction the fiber to Cordiner Hall was cut. Cordiner Hall has no network access. No ETA on when the fiber can be repaired.
During Sherwood construction the fiber to Cordiner Hall was cut. Cordiner Hall has no network access. No ETA on when the fiber can be repaired.
Next Monday morning (4/14/2008), the network be shutdown in Cordiner Hall and Harper Joy Theater. The fiber-optic cable has to be disconnected, moved and reconnected as part of the Sherwood Center construction project.
All networked services in Cordiner Hall and Harper Joy Theater, including VoIP telephones, documents, printing, email and access to the Internet will not be available during this time.
The network should be available again for normal use by 8:00 am Tuesday morning.
You should not be working on any documents or files stored on the network as you may lose changes or damage the documents that you have open. Make sure you close your files before 8:00 am on Monday. You may need to shutdown and restart your computer sometime after 8:00 am Tuesday to re-establish your connection to the network.
Sunday April 6th 7:30pm - 10:30pm The students email server was so busy it would not allow WebMail to log in. The problem has been resolved and students is now back to normal.
