The Whitman Network will be down Thursday, August 16th from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM for routine maintenance. You will not be able to access any local Whitman services, including Whitman Web Sites, Email, Datatel, Cleo, Document Imaging, Development Servers, NetFiles and WinFiles while the network is down for maintenance.

Telephone/Voice Mail services and access to the Internet will remain available while the local Whitman network is shutdown for maintenance.

The Windows Cluster ( winfiles ) will be down Tuesday ( 8/7/12 ) from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm for routine maintenance.

Windows File Storage ( winfiles ):

This affects all faculty and staff using the winfiles cluster for network storage. You should not be working on any documents or files stored on winfiles as you may lose changes or damage the documents that you have open while the servers are shut down. Make sure you close your files before 5:00 PM on Tuesday. You may need to shutdown and restart your computer sometime after 7:00 pm to re-establish your connection to the network.
