Web Services: Scheduled downtime Sunday Jan 8th 2-8PM

The Datatel/Webadvisor, DocLocator, Report Manager and R25 servers will be down Sunday, January 8th from 2:00 to 8:00 PM for maintenance.

Development Servers: Scheduled downtime Tuesday Jan 10th 5-7PM

All Development Servers (Boris, Natasha, Millusers-ts, Milleb2 and Va) will be down Tuesday, January 10th 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM for routine maintenance.

WHAT THIS MEANS AND WHO IS AFFECTED:
**************************************************

Millenium Server (Natasha and Millusers-ts):

This affects users of the Millenium software only. For Millenium users, please be aware that failure to completely exit from the Millenium software before 5:00 PM may result in data loss or corruption. You may need to reboot your machine on Friday morning in order to re-establish contact with the Millenium server.

Millenium Reporting Server (Boris):

This affects users of the Millenium reporting server only. No reports can be scheduled or run while the server is down for maintenance. Any reports that are active when the server is shutdown will be aborted.

Visual Analyser Server (Va):

This affects users of the Visual Analyser Server only. You will not be able to access the Visual Analyser web site or data while the server is down for maintenance.

Winfiles: Scheduled maintenance of the Windows Cluster

The Windows Cluster (winfiles) will be down this Thursday (1/5/12) from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm for routine maintenance.

Windows File Storage (winfiles):

This affects all faculty and staff using the winfiles cluster for network storage. You should not be working on any documents or files stored on winfiles as you may lose changes or damage the documents that you have open while the servers are shut down. Make sure you close your files before 5:00 PM on Thursday. You may need to shutdown and restart your computer sometime after 9:00 pm to re-establish your connection to the network.
